Our Story
Fridge Restock Community SG began as a ground-up initiative in 2020 to address two problems at the same time:
Food waste & food insecurity.
Large amounts of fresh produce are discarded every day because they are unsellable, even though they remain perfectly edible. At the same time, many families in Singapore struggle with rising grocery costs.
We bridge this gap by rescuing surplus produce and redistributing it through community fridges and distribution partners across Singapore.
Today we are a non-profit organisation collecting over 500,000kg of unsold food and redistributing it to 14 community fridges and 30 distribution points.

How It Works
1. Volunteers collect surplus produce from vendors at Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre.
2. Volunteer drivers deliver the produce to community fridges and partner organisations across the island.
3. The produce is sorted and packed.
4. Residents and families can freely take what they need.
Join our cause as a volunteer to help reduce food waste and feed the community!
